This Mantra or Mystic Formula was imparted to the entire mankind on 1st, November 1978 by Divine Mother Rama Devi, before Her exit from Her mortal body. The Mantra was first imparted to Her able disciples Divine Mother Tara Devi and Dr. Srinivas Pai lovingly known as Poojya Shree Bhagawan, Who dedicated Their entire lives to spread this Mantra and for Mothers glorious Mission.

The Mantra is most effective when chanted in the morning between 5.30-5.45 am
Ideally one should face North or East while chanting.
Mantra must be chanted loudly.

The esoteric meaning of this Mantra is profound and is
"I surrender completely at the Holy Lotus Feet of the Primal Shakti, Adi Shakti Divine Mother"

Mother wanted to uplift the entire mankind and redeem humanity from the cycle of birth and death through this Mantra. She showered Her grace and blessings on one and all through this Mantra, crossing all barriers of religion, before Her exit. She wanted the good of the entire mankind. Her message was to spread Love, Peace and Harmony which is the need of the hour.
True to Her words, people from all over the world who have taken up chanting of this 'Mystic Formula' have not only benefited materialistically but also spiritually. Chanting this Mantra will produce the same vibration as OM, which is the first primal sound when the universe was created.
In simple terms, this Mantra means “I am surrendering myself to the Supreme entity." Divine Mother is very much amongst us, although She left Her mortal body, through this most potent Mantra which is Her sound form.
Objective
Man’s mind is full of worldly desires and it keeps wandering. It is difficult to control the thoughts. By chanting this Mantra, the mind is brought under control. By chanting this sincerely all desires of man are fulfilled and finally, his focus will turn on God. His faith in the Mantra increases and he starts doing it regularly. He gets attached to the Mantra and gets addicted to it.
Thus the object of the prayer, in the beginning, is no doubt for worldly gains but eventually, it becomes divine. Man will find he has everything yet something is missing. That’s when He turns his direction to the Supreme Entity and asks for God himself. He surrenders himself completely to His will and attains eternal peace.
Interpretation
In simple terms the Mystic Formula can be interpreted like this:
‘Charanam’ means holy Lotus Feet and ‘Sharanam’ means abject surrender or taking complete refuge. 'Ramambike' means Goddess of Wealth and Knowledge and 'Trayambake' means that which knows the past, present, and future. The meaning of the entire Mantra can be interpreted as:
I bow to Thee, the Only Entity who is Eternal in this perishing world
I bow to Thee, the Only Entity that can grant me shelter and protection
I bow to Thee, the Only Entity that is filled with unlimited knowledge
I bow to Thee, the Only Entity that can save me from the karmic cycle of birth and death.
I bow to Thee, the Only Entity who can lead me to the path of redemption
I bow to Thee, the Only Entity who is all-pervading Reality and Creatrix of the Universe
Oh, Supreme One! I surrender my ego unconditionally at Thy Lotus Feet
With utter humility, I prostrate at Thy Lotus Feet, the One Who is the Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient
Mother stood for Love and Her descent on Earth is the greatest proof of Her love and Her sacrifice for humanity.
Therefore the Mantra is to be chanted with love, faith, devotion, and sincerity for maximum results.
Uniqueness
This Mantra was imparted from Divine Mother just before leaving Her mortal coil. All other Mantras have originated from sages. This Mantra is unique in that it has been given to humanity by Divinity itself which is also to be regarded as the manifestation of the Supreme.
The Mantra in simple terms is to surrender oneself to the Supreme. It does not point out to any particular Deity and hence it can be chanted by anyone following any faith. When Divine Mother imparted this Mantra it was to be chanted by anyone with no distinction to any religious faiths. Therefore this Mantra can be considered as a Universal Mantra.
